1. Data Collection & Storage

Expense Mate does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. All data (expenses, savings, categories) is stored locally on your device and is deleted permanently when you log out.

2. Login System

The app’s login is a requirement for its university project purpose. Credentials are validated locally; no data is sent to a server.

3. Permissions

Expense Mate requests no unnecessary permissions. Optional features (e.g., location tagging for expenses) require explicit user consent and process data locally.

4. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app or logging out erases all data irreversibly. No backups are created.

5. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate analytics, ads, or third-party SDKs that access user data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Expense Mate is not intended for users under 13. No age-gating is required as no data is collected.
